I have been informed by Unimax that the US M4A3 Sherman and German Tiger 1 will be out in January. They are testing the waters and if all goes well "In 2009, we are planning to develop 2 more models of R/C tanks and military vehicles'

I wonder if one of the new FOV RC tanks will be a PANZER IV ?
Great news on the Tiger I.

Wow, someone to compete against VS tanks? I'll be very interested in a head to head comparison of quality, function and price.

I did read on the VS website a while back that FOV were using the same IR combat system as VS. I don't know if thats true though. I'll report about them in January.

The next two tanks will be King Tiger and M270 MLRS. I have samples of the Sherman and Tiger which I'll be reviewing on
www.rctankhq.com soon.

tankduel i saw that the pic is from figures.com do you have the link?

That pic was from the 2007 or 2008 NY Toy Fair and there was no further info about it on the figures.com site. Anyway, the actual box art is different, I only got the samples yesterday so I'll put some pics up soon.
I started this thread before I was aware of complaints about non 1/18 scale subjects here, so, my apologies to the people who are offended about it.

Geez, an MLRS? What an odd choice. They should have made a Challenger II. But oh wells.
I can't wait to see these tanks. I already have the VS Late Tiger I, so I hope FOV would be able to surpass the quality of that model, which is already a great model.
Don't worry about people who are offended about non 1/18th stuff. Don't know why they care so much about seeing non 1/18th stuff here, and honestly, no one gives a hoot.

FOV needs to be realistic in their box sets. The box set should be 19 Shermans and 1 Tiger.
The Shermans should have a smoke unit on them so that when they get hit smoke billows out of them.
hehe

Here's a little mystery. Scroll down to the "Carson 1/24 RC tanks" pics. It's a pic of an RC King Tiger, Tiger I and a Sherman.

New company? Or simply mislabeled FOV or VS tanks? Because that Late Tiger looks like a VS tank.

Good find, that is a Unimax IR Target next to the late Tiger . The KT looks beaten up. probably a sample, I don't think it has gone into production yet.

Yeah, I don't think that's the 1/24 King Tiger either. It looks like the 1/32 FOV diecast King Tiger.
