But I did see 4 Rudel Ju-87s at TRU about 30 mins ago, and my god, I'm getting one. Breaking my "no more WWII 1/18 planes rule" because it's a frickin' STUKA.

Sorry I guess the sale is over. The link was a direct one to the page, so it must be gone at that price. Hope everyone that wanted one got it.

missed it...crap..35..42$ shipped is a great price for that plane, hopefully they have the sale again before Xmas.
but I did order another Peg V-1 to keep in it's box since I took my first one out to hang on display, I am thinking of getting a 3rd to donate to my local WWII museum(VAC here in Titusville) to add to their model collection of period aircraft since it is just an impressive piece.

Which TRU was that? The I-10 one? I have been wanting one ever since I passed on them at WM.

No, this is up North, 1960 and Cutten is the closest intersection, and by close I MEAN CLOSE. So from Houston, it's not easy but from anywhere North of the Beltway it's not so bad, if you're in need.
Google Map/Earth the intersection and you'll see a WM, first. TRU is closeby, right alongside 1960, 200 feet from the WM gas station.

Google Earth, hell yeah.

I see these are still available at a bunch of places...if they haven't sold 1000 yet you have to wonder if this is the bbi copycat that caught up to them. It hurt 21C with the F-86, appears to be a mistake FOV just made with the M16...and now this...I really hope these companies stay sharp so the hobby can continue.

i really doubt that there were only 1000 made. Not like bbi to make a brand new plane and then release it in such tiny numbers. I've also seen the number quoted differently by different etailers (2000, 3000) etc.
So, i suspect there are lots of them around and they may well end up showing up at TRU. It's possible only 1000 (or 2000, 3000 etc) are going to etailers and the rest to a big retailer.

Yeah the last time I saw a Hellcat was at least 6 months ago. Came in too late for the F-16 and F/A-18
