Anybody know if it's possible to remove the main rotor blade from the Cobra copter once it is installed....?? I have a loose one I'm considering selling, and I would like to remove the blade for shipping if it's possible and not too difficult to do without causing damage. I seem to remember that it kind of snapped into a hole in the fuselage, so I don't imagine it will be simple to remove, but I would appreciate any info if somebody knows how to do it. Thanks.

I took mine off with no problem, just pulled it out. You might want to get something small to pry one side of the fastener though.

Well, it won't budge. I clearly remember this having a "hub" at the base, or whatever you want to call it, that had a cut or split in it vertically, so when you pressed into the hole in the fuselage it would compress a little bit to allow it to enter, then it sort of sprang back to lock it in place, I know this because I remember there was an audible snap once it was all the way in... I dunno, maybe different production runs had a slightly different arrangement or method for installing the main rotor, but no way this one is gonna come out just by pulling on it, and there's no way to slightly compress the little hub to ease it out, because it's inside the fuselage and there is no way to gain access to it. Don't think lubing it is gonna help either. Anyway guys, thanks for the suggestions, but it looks like I'm just going to have to pack it very carefully and double box it for shipping.

You should be able to remove the main rotor blades. I do it all the time on my model as it is the only way I can store the thing. They should come off with a bit of force, carefully applied of course
