Does anybody know what kind of grid is on the floor of a Mk IV Whirblewind ? Is it the t style anti skid grid or the 3 line grid ?

The gun mount is attached to two transverse I beams which are fixed to the sponson floors, so there is no turret floor. The Nuts & Bolts book on Flakpanzers has loads of detail including photos of one in pieces. Tamiya had a stab at reproducing the beams in its kit but erroneously assumed that they were part of the turret (more correctly, shield) and rotated with it.

I wasn't sure what the first bit of info meant, til I saw the 1/48 model
