Anyone have a HL 1/16 Stug in hand?

About a 1/4 inch away from ordering one of the HL 1/16 Stugs. Wondered if anyone already has one and could give a little feedback on the quality and detail.

Well, it's not Tamiya but according to others it's their best HL yet. And, it's the only Stug III Ausf G. out there right now. It's a little bigger than 1/16th but overall the quality and scale is alright.

It doesn't stack up to what a Tamiya can do as far as quality but for the price what else are you going to find? The color of course is wrong, but you can change that and add detail items later for they're not glued on but come in another box.

It comes with dry transfers instead decals or stickers. I think the recoil is a little toy-like but not as bad as the WSN T34/85.

I have 2 and are my favourite 1/16 tank. Every now and than I start one up just for the fun of it. The recoil barrel works, machine light and sound, smoke, but the best part is the varying speeds you can make the tank do, all with one toggle only together with turns, reverse etc. Most other controls require you to operate two paddles to steer, this tank requires only one. Although I made a deal with myself to get no more than 2 of each tank, in the case of the Stug, I like so much I was considering getting a third one, but it is on hold for the moment given six weeks ago $1 Australian was worth 98 cents US and is currently trading at 65cents US. Huge drop in value. Regardless of price I have to have the upcoming Jagdpanther, if that too is not also in melt down mode.

I would say go for it, for the price you really can't go wrong.
