Sorry guys this is just AC - no dioramas - no armor - but now my total is 51! I thought today would be a good day to get them assembled for a photo op. I have been very lucky to have gotten into this very early on and am working on getting some displayed in my little room at home that I call an office. Enjoy.

I see you snapped the bazooka tubes off of Haleakala II. Right or wrong, I did the same thing.
Great collection. Thanks for posting.

Very nice collection.
If you can't collect tanks, Jeeps, half-tracks....... I guess you might as well collect SOMETHING.

What I can't fit in my house display is carefully disassembled (of course I would never admit that these are not finished.... so they are classified as "disassembled") and on display in a corner of my massive military vehicle shed... er.... massive garage..... er.... bunker...... er ..... OK.OK, so it's a garage......
They are on display whenever somebody walks by and my garage is open.....

Nice collections, guys! I think I've only got about half the planes most of you seem to have - and even that is too many
I've been very tempted to display the whole collection, but especially when one gets down to all the pieces stowed away around my house it would take up a week or so to get it all out, arranged, photographed, assessed and then put away again.

We're in the same ballpark, you and I, quantity wise- I lack many of the exclusives, though, no Australian versions of anything here. If I was single or enjoyed a dual income, I'd definitely try to obscenely increase my collection; win the lottery or inheritance, every one of the Skyworks offerings. Anyway nice collection.

Wow! Lots of cool planes! Some super-rare ones in there.
I missed out on the Australian P-51, Corsair, and the winter Me-109, and a few Razorbacks.
So where do you put these after the photos? On a shelf, or back in the boxes? (that's a pain)

Sorry, double post, but I have to ask, is that a Shilling P-47 Thunderbolt 1:18 there in the middle? Or which version is it? (the camo with red nose and tail)
I have never seen that in 1:18 till now. Aarg! that's one I'm missing also.

I believe that it is a custom.

Ah, that explains it. Good idea for a custom though. It's my favorite P-47 paint scheme in 1:32.
That's what I'm eventually going to do to a few extra P-40's maybe a Thunderbolt. I want to do it to an extra NKK Spitfire, but I think I'm better off trading for something equally as rare that I don't have like a DWK one.
That is when my 6 mo. is up of course.

Kris:
That is just beautiful. Almost brings a tear of joy to see such a huge display.
Love it.
Keep it big
Keep it 1:18

That one is a custom I did. It's a 56th Fighter group bird, but it is Pengie IV, flown by Mike Gladych, a Polish pilot. There are actually three more customs in that photo. Another P-47D, Big Ass Bird (on the other side of the Eagleston), a F4U-4 Corsair conversion (the all blue one with the rattle snake on the nose), and a P-51 in fictional markings, Pokey's Pride (natural metal finish with the green nose)
Looking at this photo again made me realize that the picture is from the fall of 2006 I think. Looks like it is time for another group photo.
