Does this come as a kit? Or does it come premade?

This was in the new Fairfield Mint catalog I received today. Price is right at $100. Its a ready made car. The items in the Fairfield Mint catalog are generally 20%-30% overpriced when compared to other outlets so it could probably be found at a more reasonable price.

Great Intell, thanks. I goggled it and found this also.

http://www.diecastauto.com/catalog/prod ... 27960a7ceb

They have it at $79.99 for preorder, shipping could easily be higher, though. The photo they have shows the figures to be very glossy.

Great find, I think I just lost the space reserved for the '88.

I figure you guys would like it!

I forgot to mention that it was in the "last catalog" unless I order from the Fairfield Mint. of course it the 17th time they have said that

Their prices are very high, so look around. It said a Nov 08 release. DiecastAuto.com say it is made by Premier, but I read that it is made by Signature Models.

I wonder it is will have decals to put on the flags?

definitely needs a new paint job......dark grey as mg42. And a custom figure of general burkhalter. I suspect we'll be able to find this for less than $80. Premier diecasts aren't that expensive and the quality on this doesn't look overly high, so it should be found for less, $ in time. I'm not really into staff cars but this is definitely worth getting.

The sign of a great model is that one’s eye is not drawn to any one feature, yet one can study it for hours and continually find something new.

I have seen photos of Hitler in both types of cars mentioned in the above posts. The dual rear wheels just look really cool though.

there's one with Hitler and Mussolini figures in it as well.

Also, be careful when you order. There's a hardtop and convertable version of the 770k. You probably want the convertable.

One of the sites says it will be available in white/black. Would like one of these in black especially and agree the rear double wheels set this vehicle apart. The 1/18 hobby lives on.

Premier is made by Signature, I was unable to find otherwise.

I picked up the 38 Mercedes 770K Black finish in1:18th. Very nice model, XD figures look great around or near it..... but they seem to be a little large if sitting in the car.
Still a nice piece to add to your collections.
