Is BBI done at Toys R Us?

Post by DAN » Tue Sep 09, 2008 1:19 pm

I haven't seen very many BBI figures at Toys r Us lately. I've seen a couple of the WWII repaints but no modern figures in a while. Recently I went into one and they had no BBI. Did they halt shipping during the olympics or something? Does anyone have any info on this?

i hope they're not "discontinued." however, TRU has always been notorious on having distribution problems. especially here in Cali.

You mean another new series, or the one that came out a few months ago?

well i guess a few months ago but not all TRUs had them out then. Thats about right for BBI figures usually new figures twice a year.

Check the price label. If there is a "X" or "D" to the left of the UPC then they are discontinued. "X" means not carried by TRU anymore, "D" means discontinued from the manufacturer.

not only that, TRU just did some reset on their "military collectible" aisle, including Joes. so you'll probably notice that some might not be there anymore. unless you have to go thru the trouble of asking some associate to look up some item numbers and see if they are indeed "X."

yeah, TRU don't really have space for any line... unless they just shove anything or whatever peg space they could spare. LOL

Our local TRU just restocked one of the BBI planes, so it's still a possibility that the figures may also show up.
