These are usually carried by Wal*Mart during the Christmas season. Some are real close to 1/18 scale. There are some new items this year. You can't order from this web site but you can call a 800# for a store locator. They list True Value, Ace, K-Mart, Lowe's, Michael's, Menard's, Sears, and Shopco.

This is page 1 of 10 of Trees (non-lighted). There's a new 9-5/8" palm tree and some smaller palm trees. I bought some palm trees a few years ago and haven't seen them at WM since.

There are other trees too. A 12" Mulberry tree, 9" Weeping Willow tree, and a few large evergreen trees.

Under 'Landscaping" there's brick mats, grass mats, and a 4-foot sky backdrop. I use the brick for my 1/18 buildings.

This is a pic of my palm trees. The tree trunks are a cast resin and the palm branches are cloth with a wire in it so you can pose them the way you want.

Last year I found the evergreen trees and brick at WM at the end of August. I haven't found any out yet.

I've used some of their products. The two tier display platform from the 2nd link, # 74639 and 74701 are the same.
These are some pics from last years Dio Contest.......

They are easy to work with, made of styrofoam you can cut and sand and paint with little effort.

I picked up a couple brick mats yesterday.
Michael's sells them for $16. I got mine at Menard's for $10.
They are 18" X 36". A lot more for your money than the one's I got at WM last year that were 3.5" X 30" for $4.
Menard's also has a large selection of Winter and Fall trees on the shelves already.
