There were no discounts on the pre-orders at BCA over the Labor Day 10% sale I found out when I went back to order some more stuff.caesarbc wrote:Was there a pre-sale discount from BCA on this one? It's $70 on the BCA site, which is alot more than the other green zero at smalljoes. It's nice to have a BCA exclusive, but there isn't much of a diff IMO. I want the Solomon zero. Now that looks cool!
It's pricey is why I only got one, and I needed a Vraciu Hell Cat anyways, so I got free shipping at least, by pre-ordering the two together.
I am looking forward to the Soloman Zero too. I have two of those I pre-ordered when they first appeared. I think they were available at $49 when they first were up.

I ordered this version just because... I also would rather have the Solomans scheme so I guess I will buy that one too if it becomes available.
You know that first Zero release from BBI is missing the white stripes on the wings to match the ones on the fuselage right? Well I painted mine on and it looks WAY better now and also it now creates more distinction from this new green version. 21C has both of these schemes covered in 32x with the Zeros.

* ........ and that is what I have planned to paint on my "green Zero" too. The white diagonal stripes on the wings. Yes , the 2- 32x X-treme Wings versions are perfect examples , both of which I have.
* This is just one of the many paint schemes for the Solomon Islands version that bbi is currently trying to decide on but not official yet.
