1/16th Scale RC Panzer IV F2

Given the increased interest in this scale around here lately, I thought I should post this for anyone who is already into, or thinking of taking the plunge in to 1/16 scale RC tanks.... Mato toys of Canada has a new Panzer IV F2 model up at their site, and what makes this a really attractive deal is the included metal internal drive gears, plus metal drive sprockets and tracks which would cost well over a $100 not including shipping if purchased seperately off ebay or elswhere. It's also the first long barreled RC Panzer IV in this scale that I know of that is not a $600 Tamiya kit, or a custom. This is an especially great deal for those of you living in The Great White North because the shipping will be about half what it would be to the USA. My "toy" funds are little tight at the moment, but I may just have to go for one, as it's just too good a deal to pass up....

[+] > One dressed up in skirts + a turret girdle would be nice.

* Looks almost as if there's a place for skirts on the fenders of the hull , (holes) that is.

>>> No but I don't think it would be that difficult to customize one.

[+] > Also ,.. how about a sawed off short-barreled 75 version of the Panzer Mk. IV for your DAK troops ? ... besides the R/C one 21st.C came out w/ a couple a years ago.

Actually, HL already makes several versions of the short barreled Pz. IV, most can be had for under $100 including delivery if you shop around. Personally, I've just always had a preference for the long barreled Panzer IV's.. 8)
