Okay you Wimps! Quit yer bitchin! Can't afford Syworks Toys' new $500 XD Hurricane? Neither could I! Then I remembered the Orphanage up the street! Using my excellent computer skills, I hacked into the Orphanage's electronic bank accounts, siphoned off the children's food money fund, and deposited it into my XD Warbird account. Sure it was hard work, but every time I drive by the Orphanage and see the children's wan, thin faces looking hungrily out the windows, I kind of feel warm and fuzzy all over! So be creative! Got an elderly mother in a nursing home? Drain her dinner account! Has your wife set aside savings bonds for the kids' college tuition? Cash 'em out! Desperate times call for desperate measures. Skyworks Toys thanks you, and I thank you. Warmly yours, Donnieboy!

I think I'm going to have to place that $500 in my "Las Vegas 2009" fund instead

or gasp...get a part time job at 60 bucks a week take home. Thats a good 2 months to pay for your toy with out any guilt:)
But seriously, that many variants of the Hurricane is impressive.
Wish list for these would be opening canopy or open close options and detailed cockpit.
That is my only issue with the Me163 (cockpit) which as I have some reference books, that will be project for me.

Not blood, the plasma, that can be donated ($) 3 times a week. Long time (1988?)ago I had to do that for gas money. Sucks hanging out with the "bums" so as fast I could I found a decent part time job was it and have never been short since.

I am seriously thinking about selling off a few things on eBay just to get the Hurricane.
I have a few extra 1:18 planes, not to mention a huge collection of GI Joe and Star Wars, musical instruments and devices.
As I am getting older my tastes in "toys" is changing more towards authentic military anyways.

That would be such a sweet addition to my collection, but there are tons of birds I still dont have. Maybe we should take the orphans to sell their plasma and we'll split it.

No, I wish. Though I probably wouldn't sell a 4001 Bass if I had one.
Mostly bodies and necks from Fenders, misc. parts, pickups, lots of Rackmount devices, floor pedals etc. Maybe some tube amps though I still use those.
Sold off all my collector Gibsons, Fenders, a couple of years ago.

I may have to result in getting a job........ not me, for Mrs. TTT...... she has been retired a month, that's long enough.... she is cramping my style anyway. Now SHE is just always here, and I can't get delivery's without the dreaded "Honey, what was that in the big box the UPS guy just delivered?" I'm too old to keep thinking up answers.....
Yeah, a job will do the trick...... More toys, and hang the cost.

My heart goes out to you. Have you considered taking a mistress, just so you have a safe place to send collectibles?

Oli:
Yeah, I could do that..... and send the mistress to work. Hey that is a great idea.
Who am I kidding..... after 37 years of marriage and trying to keep one woman happy. I could never keep two women happy.....

Congrats on 37 years. I think it's great. Although the working mistress is a great idea.
