I'm not so sure 21st is doing that bad. From what I've heard they're doing OK. They're just temporarily set back by the loss of Roy.

Well true or not I wish either company would come on line and just spell it out. I think they owe thier loyal customers that. If anyone has any real contacts in either camp maybe they can clear it up for us.

yeah, Jason--better look out before they come in and auction off your office furniture ;)

As I understand it, nobody is "out of business". On hiatus, yes, and in the case of 21st, possibly shifting their focus away from 1/18th, but definitely alive and kicking. I'd worry more about Ford or CitiBank at this point in time...

i agree with pH. The future is not that gloomy for our hobby. It may struggle for a while and we may have to get used to higher prices, which means we'll buy fewer things but not dead.

Looks like AT is not out of the toy business and with 21c possibly out of the way they may be delighted to fill the void. Maybe not but a possibility.

Maybe FOV will fill the armour void; maybe Dragon will start making 1/18 armour and maybe someone else will come along. There are now too many people that are into this scale for it to be ignored by manufacturers.

Plus we have a ton of customs coming. Since there may not be alot else to buy for some time, some will be willing to redirect their funds to these customs.

We will all just have to wait and see...
i never met an airplane i didn't like...
