How Much ist worth???

Post by rogue29 » Mon Aug 18, 2008 5:54 pm

Hey ya all, i was thinking of selling a 1:18 hog head 2 huey, loose no pilot. What is it worth? I haven't seen any on ebay for awhile. I also have some new and old armor. 21st Tiger, Sherman, Hanomag, Dodge troop carrier, I know the new BBI armor is not worth much. I have a few items I might sell but not sure what to ask. I want to be fair. I have a R/C panzer that sold in Walmart a ways back. Any ideas before I post in the for sale forum or list on ebay. Thanks and great site.

Dont sell that puppy yet! Unless you really need the money. Ive seen MIB ones go for three and change on Ebay. Im thinking itll probably get you 100-150 loose. They are so rare out there that I probably would never sell mine, I bought it loose with no pilot for 60 clams.

My standard reply is, 'what is it worth to you'? In other words, what price would you be comfortable with? If it's the highlight of your collection and makes you smile every time you look at it, then it's worth a lot more to you than if it's been sitting in a closet the past three years and you need the room.

Stuff sells on e-bay for all sorts of prices, from low to out-of-the-park high. There are 1/18 Spitfires listed now for almost $200. I don't have a Spit, and want one, but it's not worth $200 to me. For someone else, it is. You never know what the other guy will pay, so you have to price what you will be happy with, not to make the most money you can. My 2 cents.
