I wonder how the kettenkrad would look as a companion to my XD me 262?

Good idea, the 262 is the next plane on my list. The Krad has been shipped so I'll soon see if it will tow an XD plane and post a video of it.

The 8.8 cm "Puppchen" is very cool, and it looks like a fairly easy kit to assemble as well, should make a very nice accessory for towing behind my Tamiya 1/16 Kubelwagen. Any idea what these will cost...?? I can't seem to get any info in this regard from the AD site, I suspect it will be a bit pricey, but then again it's a very unique piece.

Am I seeing correctly? Does the Kettengrad have no drivers position? No seat, no well for his legs?
Kinds of reminds me of the 21C 1/6 Humvee with blacked out windows and no access to the interior. Sales went through the floor as soon as buyers realized the vehicle was like a motorized solid block of plastic.
I'm a big fan of Andrew products (I have a few in 1/6) but this 1/16 Kett won't fly without a drivers position.

Yes, unless I'm missing something too, that does appear to be the case... here is a pic of the parts sprue...

I guess this was a compromise that was necessary in order to have RC capability..??

When I noticed that it got me second guessing whether I would get one.
So would a driver figure be a waist up? I can't see that looking good on motorcycle type seating. If they offered a correctly molded insert for those more interested in the modelling aspect, that would be acceptable.
Too bad

I guess it sounds contradictory, but the one on its way to me is a pre-release review sample. I can't release price/distribution info yet, sorry.

I just go Dragon's 1/35 Sdkfz/2 w. 8.8cm Racketenwetfer 43(Puppchen)..but I would love to have either the infantry car or just the Ketten's trailer in place.
actually I could use several infantry carts, for Kubels, 250s and just getting lugged by tired infantry.
btw, are those metal treads?
