Is it just me, or does everyone get a "this image has been removed" marker where GooglyDoogly's avatar should be? (Or has this already been covered and I've missed the thread? )

well, it will be easier to resist than i anticipated. I don't like it as much as i thought i would. Milky grey colour and early mantlet.

Stilll, with it being the only Stug in town it wiill be hard to pass on..

Being this is more geared towards the R/C world and not for the collector in mind, we would more likely re-paint the tank if we didn't like the color than passing on it like the collector will.

We would even change the mantlet too.

Is it going to be grey? or is this just unpainted?

To me it just looks like it was molded in light grey plastic.
Should be easy enough to paint.
Also lookslike it is more true to scale since it does not have the airsoft cannon in it but theIR battle system.
Might have to get one or three

It's the standard Heng Long strange grey color they use.
Painting it isn't a big deal, and way more fun.
Paint jobs on the 21st stuff aren't very good either and require repainting as well.

With the exception of a couple feeble attempts at camo paint schemes all the HL tanks come from the factory in three basic colors.... yellow or grey for German tanks and green for American. They all need to be repainted to look any good IMO, but like smitty said it's no big deal, and you don't even need an airbrush to do a pretty snazzy job, depending on how fancy you want to get with the pattern and colors. The mantlet looks correct for an early Ausf. G as far as I can tell, and unless you plan to model a later "G" there's really nothing to change here, but I wouldn't be surprised if we see an aftermarket Saukopf mantlet for this model in the near future for people who would prefer it.
