Size is of no concern. I am waiting to figure out how to gladly shoehorn a B-25 into my collection.

F-117 might be a stretch, simply from a packaging standpoint, but not out of the realm of possibility (although I'd hate to see the shipping costs). The F-22 is very doable--in-line with the F-4 and only slightly larger than the F/A-18.

pickel, I don't believe your math. The F-117 is no way that long. In real terms it is about the same length as the F-16.
I've always thought it would be the ideal size in this market. For boxes, the ways it could come apart would let it fit in anything.

dimensions for f117 are correct.. It's over 65 feet long, close to 50% longer than the F-16.
It's a big bird and an akward shape to package but would be certainly a nice one to have. Raptor's big too, like an F-15 and we haven't seen that one yet. Mind you we haven't seen much of anything, have we...

I would love to see a Hind in 1/18 scale. The F-117 would be an easy plane to build but it so big. The wings are slab triangle fuse. No curves just flat with saw toothed edges. Did I say it would be big. It would drawf anything in 1/18 scale.
The B-25 is :
WS- 45"
L- 35 1/4 "
About the size of the F-117 kinda.

I know something else that isn't too big by comparison and easier to build than some of those you've listed......
a 1/18
A-10!!!!
In 1/18:
WS= 36" (Roughly)
L= 36" (Roughly)
(Similar if not smaller in size to and way less to detail than a B-25)

BBI was going to release a 1/18 Hind back in 2004 but sadly it wasn't to be..

aferg, did you see (or happen to have) a photo of the 1:18 hind prototype?
That would be an awesome bird and if they threw in some crew and some spetznatz.. mm... fun!

Would the shape of the F-117 be really *that* easy? I mean, the general shape of that plane may look easy, but if you really try to replicate each and every angle of that plane...that would be difficult to replicate. I mean, it took years for Skunkworks to perfect that design.

Trust me, angles are HARD. They may look like just lines on one side, but getting them to match perfectly on an X, Y and Z axis is actually harder than some curves. It's because there's so many angles you can't see, it tricks you. You think you have it one way, but ah! You look down and you're wrong. But if it's a little off, noone cares, right?
But I want to see a Eurocopter Tiger... or a Ka-50...

BBI? That Ka-50 is mean buggin' ya!
