Small Scale 1:18 Database - FAST

Ok...

It took me forever to move it but now it's in a much nicer home.

For those of you that don't know what it is..

The SSHQ Database is a complete listing with photos of all 1:18 military items from all of the major manufacturers like BBI, 21C, Admiral toys, Dragon and several of the minor ones as well, etc.. Many of them are never released prototypes.

It had gotten so huge (656 items and over 1700 photos) that it slowed to a crawl and for many of you wasn't functional at all.

Now it's back in business and extremely fast.

That is good news for you, but also for me because uploading new items and managing it was slower than surfing it!

Anyway, give it a look-see.. If you find any problems post them here.

Also, if you find any missing items or have suggestions let me know.

Of course, thanks again to all of you that have contributed to it over the years! :D

http://www.sshqdb.com/

Enjoy!

Grunt

PS: For those of you 1:32 folks. I will be finishing the move of that part of the site tonight so right now it's broken. Hopefully now that it's faster I'll be able to upload a lot more pictures and items and make it as big if not bigger than the 1:18 database.

Sweet! So you know, it's a lot of work compiling that information. Just trying to do the 1:32 list was hard. I actually forgot that I can relate...

Amen to that, bros! To those of us who have arrived late to this hobby (or addiction, whatever it is), this is an invaluable resource. Überkudos to you, Grunt.

We'd all like that.

That photo is over 5 years old I believe.

21st never produced it.

They've used every excuse in the book to not produce it actually...

Grunt,
Much more speedier and reliable than where your database use to call home.
Thanks very much for this valuable resource that you created and CONTINUE to maintain for us!

There was a nasty rumor that both the C21 A10 and F4 (especially the F4) were "shown" to stop other people making them - given the call, nay demand for these aircraft from members of this community, to announce these with no intention of actually making them would be... well, not exactly suicidal but pretty bloomin' stupid all the same.

 I like to believe that C21 will, one day - when the stars are right, plastic and labor costs are low and George Lucas finally admits there are still three 'Star Wars' films to be made - release these and we will all (well, those as wants them) will be able to add them to our collections.
(But then I collect dollies[1] and toys, so what do I know?)

Jeff (Rowse. No, not that one, the other one)

[1] 1/6th-scale collectables to me, "dollies" to my wife. (mutter mutter Philistine mutter  )

I registered specifically to ask about that A-10. I guess we'll never see it. Oh well, I guess it's time I stopped lurking anyway.

True or not, anyone else feel so infuriated that they would punch one of their 21st plane in the gut? *eyes Avenger*

21st can be so skanky.
