Anyone hear any news on the BBI Thunderbird F-16? That should be one nice looking model.

Last word I got was in December and it was slated for a Jan release, then a 1st Qtr release. Now we're in the last part of the 2nd Qtr...

Can't see any production delays other than perhaps the paint, the nose alone is probably difficult to do en mass and look like anything. I'm looking forward to the agressors.

I think BBI is way behind in their schedule. I am still waiting for my camo Zero.

Yes, I saw that Badcat has pushed back the date on the 32nd scale BBI SBD Dauntless.

China should never have been chosen for the Olympics. As far as I'm concerned, they're too f*cked up for it. Even Germany shouldn't have had Olympics in 1972, their military was not capable of Olympic-style terrorism. But, we all know what happened there... Munich anyone?
So now, everyone is behind schedule. EVERYONE. BBI, AT, 21st, Pegasus.

China may be a bit distracted right now, say because of an Earthquake? I've wondered since it happened in the industrial part of their country what damage has occured to the factories there. Also, since Jason and Mike go there often what is their status. It's nice to want our toys, but lets keep our perspective straight. I'm sure if a disaster happened like that in the US, the least of our priorities would be to make sure the toys are still being produced.

Yeah I was kind of being sarcastic.

I talked to the owner of Historic Aviation a few weeks ago and he told me about either a 1/18 F-16 or an F-18 that he ordered from bbi. He said the order was refunded due to labor problems, plastic costs, and other production issues which caused them to be unable to produce it. Could this be the Thunderbirds F-16?

Any updates from Military Toy Shop, or anywhere else, on the BBI 1:18 F/A-18 Hornet Aggressor NAS Fallon or the 1:18 F-16 Falcon Thunderbirds? (Looks like the F-16 Aggressor is dead).

I saw that. Wanted to get the original F 16/18 but they never showed by me and waited too long to order. Was really looking forward to the aggressor models.

With some of these models going for $150+ on eBay, it's absurd for BBI not to do further production runs with a new paint scheme. I don't get it. They already have the tooling made, why just let it sit there when there is obvious demand?

Agree, might be licensing or just plain old Chinese manufacturing madness..

Makes one wonder what the top brass is thinking in not producing any other editions.

Greetings
I have a preorder on it and am keeping it on there just so I don't end up paying what I did for my Blue Angels Hornet.
I think this one is coming at some point.

Why the heck is MTS no longer taking pre-orders on this plane? Not a good sign. I imagine it will get made at some point, though.

I just won my F-16 on ebay. $129.50!! I REALLY want the Aggressor F-16 and 18!! I heard delays were because of worker strikes in China. Not sure how valid that may be. As soon as the pre order goes up, im on it!!

That's a great price. I'd settle for a plain F-16 but really want the Thunderbird.
