Aleutian Tiger Markings

Post by pickelhaube » Sun Jun 01, 2008 1:56 pm

Hey Guys,
I am looking for some info on the Aleutian Tiger. Squadron Signal says that the markings were of a white stars and most of the kits have either white stars with blue surround or full stars and bars. Anybody know wich one is correct? The only pictures of the real planes that I have seen are in Squadron Signal and they show only the white stars.
Thanks for any help.

Thanks guys. They even talk about the mythical white star. That priod color pic is really outstanding. So they used the star and ball AND the stars and bars with red surround. You guys saved a whole lot of head scratching and proves one thing . Even a standard in the hobby (Squadron Signal ) aren't always right. Thanks again guys.
