ACAV, obviously
ITV (Improved Tow Vehicle)
PIVAD

A mortar carrier doesn't interest me, per se, but a big 1/18 motar does...

I'm also thinking about getting one to turn into a BMP, since no one is doing OPFOR vehicles...

BTW. how DO you take one apart? I see the two screws in the rear, but I don't see any up forward... Is it just hinged at the front?

How big a mortar?

We used 60mm, 81mm and the mother of modern mortars.....the 4.2"

The 81mm and 4.2" were all mounted in the M-113.

I've fired all three but the 81mm and 4.2" both cause serious "change of heart" to the bad guys. You know the bad guys, they are anyone we're trying to adjust their attitude.

Either would look great ion a mortar carrier.

Taking it apart is easy. Just two screws in the back, then lift the back up. The front will then slide back and out. Getting all the gear off is another story. Especially the added armor off the front gaurd, and the rear fuel tanks.

Thanks!

That confirms my suspicions. On one of mine, the back fuel tanks are really loose, so that's not too much of an issue.
