That looks neat, I just wish I had the model, not the wallpaper.

well, the KT is inching closer, somewhat asymptotically perhaps, but closer nonetheless.
I still prefer my 262 nightfighter wallpaper though.

Sadly though, the cost of bandwidth has gone up for all websites, and thus to get the wallpaper of the new King Tiger you must pay a $20 surcharge. Sorry, it's inflation folks!
Hah, KT jokes never get old!

Man, I feel so teased. It's like dating a Catholic chick.
I wish that thing would just hit the shelves.

Now when 21st Century show us a B-25 wallpaper, I will get excited!

Alright Andrew! I have what I tought was a pretty good vocabulary, but what the heck are you trying to prove!

I had to search to get the definition of the term and I still don't quite get what you mean, hehehe...

I think he means it's "taking forever." Like it seems that it may never arrive.
I think...haha

They should hire me as their graphic design guy, I could have done that...
Simple filters, and some lassos, and some lighting... oh and there is a few brush effects... and text.

Oh no, not the "Special Edition box art" thing again:
This exciting new art has been taken directly from the Special Edition box art that will be featured with the 1:18 scale King Tiger soon to be released.
And here I was, thinking that super duper artwork excuse was so lame even 21st would refrain from using it to postpone the release of the KT 'till God knows when.
You have to wonder if "soon to be released" means "some time before the next ice age hits China" or "right after the 2012 Summer Olympics" in this context. I guess we'll find out if/when it goes the way of the dodo, er, I mean the Pappy Boyington Special Edition Corsair

Just to drive my point home, I took a wild guess and searched the Area 21 news archive. This is the only article that came up for April, 2007:
The King lives! First images of the new1:18 scale King Tiger Tank.
4/13/2007
Armor Fans rejoice! The long awaited 1:18 scale King Tiger is nearing production status with a final release not far behind! AREA-21 is proud to bring you the proof of this awesome WWII German heavy tank, shown here is a pre-production test shot. As you can see for yourself, this is one highly detailed war machine. 21st Century Toys has left no stone unturned on the list of features and moving parts including: Rotating turret with elevating gun, opening crew access hatches, posable mounted MG-42 machine gun, realistic moving treads, and removable tools and accessories.

And there you go:
"The long awaited 1:18 scale King Tiger is nearing production status with a final release not far behind!"
But wait, it gets even better:
"21st Century Toys has left no stone unturned on the list of features and moving parts."
That's some great satire there! For a moment, I thought this might be a piece from Scrappleface or The Onion.

I'm glad someone else did the research on that, cause I had been thinking about it, but have generally been too lazy to do it.
I was thinking yesterday about it having been over a year since we heard word of the KT...and how most toy companies reveal products (or plans for products) and those products are normally on shelves within 6 months, haha.
Way to go 21st Century!
