FOV series 2? My wishes...
A U.S. Stuart Tank with a couple crewers due to its size, and a German Stug just because it would've been common. Nothing flashy, just a couple simple vehicles. I would like to see them up the detail slightly though by NOT molding-on the tools. Just the tools...
Figures...
Paratroopers, hands down. It was a proven 21st formula, so run with a paratrooper line. 6 U.S., 6 German, and no jump-ready (played out). For the large accessory pack-ins they dig, I'd like to see mortars for both, as mortars are important pieces. A .30 for the U.S. wouldn't hurt, and an MG-34 with unfolded bi-pod wouldn't hurt for the Germans either.
I'd open my wallet for all those...
Also, sign me up for wishing I could find the camo Tiger-1, and the camo Sherman from FOV also. Never got either one, and wanted both.
The fact they were so less expensive made me wish I could find them and custom them up a bit without much remorse, however they're insanely rare around me due to the price (I assume).

Now Hasbro, make us some Head Sculpt & Endor Uniform variations! The new Rebel Fleet Trooper gets the JJ Seal of Approval Though!

Agreed on the paras. I would also like to see German AFV crews. They would sell well with the military collectors and the kids probably wouldn't know the difference. Just give them removable caps, headphones and the tanker blouse. British or Russian troops would be cool also, even if they only did a few of each.
Modern special forces would be cool, some CIA or other non-standard troops. Some Army Land Warrior systems figures would be neat also.
I think another Willies Jeep would sell well. I think they have firmed up their next vehicle releases. I really look forward to the Stryker.

I have been thinking about getting one of these for a while now. Does anyone here own one, and if so, could you give us a short review?scope uk wrote:More modern troops including international troops as Blaster says.

I was interested to see if there will be more 1/18 FOV Bravo line so I emailed the FOV contact that was on the Joe Customs website.
He replied that there will be new figure additions to the 1/18 Bravo line for the first quarter of 2009. He said he couldn't say what nature they will be of at this time. However he did say to expect the same detail level on the figures as before.
He also said that the 1/18 Stryker is still in the pipeline and should be available sometime in 2009. No release date set yet.

Yeah I know. We can always "hope" 2008 has more in store. As someone once told me...the nice thing about hope is you can always have it....
It will be interesting to see where FOV goes with the 1/18 line though. It will also be interesting to see what happens with the Ages of Action line to.

I'm just trying to wrap my brain around why these companies don't make a better variety of figures. They KNOW we'll buy them.
Every figure that comes out is pretty much a rifleman. It's this way with 21stC and FOV. No machine gunners, or anti tank crews, or engineers w/mines, etc etc. They're always rifle men or nothing.
Not to mention no troops outside the US German spectrum.
...didn't mean to rant.
Yay, 2009!

IIRC out of the three FOV SS troops you get two MG34s and a Panzerfaust, no rifles....SolidSnakeEyes wrote:I'm just trying to wrap my brain around why these companies don't make a better variety of figures. They KNOW we'll buy them.
