Cobra Question?
Hello to everyone,
This is my first post but I have been reading most of the entries for a few months now. I think this forum is pretty cool. I have a question that I hope someone can answer. I have been looking for a XD Super Cobra 1:18 of course. I already have one and I would very much like to have another. Anyway I have watched ebay for some time and recently have noticed that the prices are falling a little bit. I do not want the Motor-works version with the snake on it. I really want the XD Marine version as it is much more detailed. Does anyone know if 21st Century is planning on re-releasing this chopper? or do you think I should just jump in and buy the next one available? (I really cant spend allot of money so I will need to be diligent in my search.) Thanks in advance.

Welcome aboard. No word on whether it will be re-released but I imagine it will one day. I will let you know that both versions came in the motorworks box at one point, and are identical except for the paint scheme.

Re: whoa
You guys are safe. I have found that much like Mary Jane 1/32 is the "gateway" drug to XD.digger wrote:Hey - No pushing your dope on this side of the streetolifant wrote:

At one time I had a half dozen of these in both Motorworks and regular 21C boxes, and as Digger said there's not a lick of difference in the model detail wise between the Snake and Land Camo versions except the paint job. Yellow paint on the tips of the rocket pods aren't "detail", they're paint......nice I guess, but I wouldn't plunk down a lot of extra money for yellow rocket tips.I really want the XD Marine version as it is much more detailed.
