XD Vietnam weapons

Hey, this morning a new set of Vietnam 1:18 XD figures were dropped off and I just took them out of the pack. I'm a little frustrated because most of the weapons are curled instead of straight. The first wave I got the M-21 was a little curved and I didn't care since I don't use them and thought it was a fluke. Then an M79 was melted, then an M60 and now 3 M16's. Is it just me or are they "Monday morning" or "5 o'clock" figures?
Has anyone steamed or heated their weapons up to fix it? I'm considering it but reluctant since I'd have to ship another set from the US to my igloo up here in Canada. Any help would be great. Thanks

I haven't had that prob with the Vietnam weapons, but with others (e.g. the AK-47 with the new IJ Russian soldier is very rubbery). I boil some water, and let them soak in there for a few minutes. Then bend them to the proper shape and hold under running cold water to set. Or if the weapon is relatively flat, soak it in the hot water, then set it on a flat surface and stack books on top of it to flatten it out.
