There's always the occasional Wal Mart discounts - none usually in my area, however.

Online, BCA is advertising all FOV products on sale. The Toy Federation has the BoB Jeep Driver figures for $4.99. There's probably something going on at other stores I'm not thinking of. Any other suggestions?

It just depends on how much checking you want to do. I would say, on average, for every 2 years I watch XD stuff at a particular Walmart in my area, eventually there will be a clearance where I have gotten a $5 Spit, or $7 Sherman, etc. But how much time I've wasted checking these places constantly, I'd rather not think.

Online places are the same way. I've watched KB for the last year to end up passing on the $25 P38 but getting the 4 man Huey for $40 this week. I think smalljoes.com still has some of the pilots for $3.99 each. Bad Cat has the BOB Germans for $6.25 where everyone else is around $8.

You might just want to check the post from the last couple weeks where everyone was chiming in with their favorite web sites. Decide what you want, go through the list, and see if anyone has it on special. At least for me, it doesn't seem like there is one location that works best for everthing.
