Just got this in today, 1/16 Tiger I RC tank purchased from Mato Toys in Canada, it's made by WSN. Have not removed it from the box, but my first impression is that it looks pretty nice the paintjob looks good and even has some light weathering, detail looks good but I'll compare it side by side with a 21st Tiger in the near future. Another neat thing about this model is that it's IR battle ready right out of the box, so if you had the T-34 or another Tiger you could battle it out for armored supremacy It also has engine startup and running sounds, cannon firing and MG sounds etc. and a recoiling gun. I have some spare time on Thursday, so I'll put some batteries in her and run it around, plus take some outdoor pics, I'll post the pics and my impressions of the RC performance afterwards. Until then these pics will have to do... Click to enlarge.

I have several of the 1/16 tanks. With what seems to be over the top price increases in 1/18 scale tanks, I think you are going to see more people turning to the 1/16 scale. Put some 1/18 figures with it and give us your opinion on whether they look out of place. The 1/16 Tigers and T-34s are very nice. Wish they made a Panther in that price range besides the abortion that Heng Long calls a Panther. I believe the one you have comes in at least 3 different colors.
These 1/16 may be a little cheaper but Ostketten you can't turn your back on 1/18 . I mean come on if it weren't for the 1/18 scale we would have no XD. What would life be without Xd. The birds would fall out of the sky water would dry up. Life as we know will cease to exist. If that would happen, I guess there is always 1/6 scale.

Cheaper....huh...?? This one cost me $100...well, OK $98 before shipping.... and the shipping from the great white north was not cheap... believe me, and the 1/16 Kingtiger I have my eye on runs $200. I used to be into RC in a big way (gas and Electric 4wd) and I guess I've been bitten by the RC bug again... BTW, I have no intention of turning my back on 1:18, heck...I just pre-ordered an overpriced XD Panther..LOL

Man the paint work on this thing is awesome...way overpriced in my opinion, but the pics will give me some inspiration for weathering and detailing my own version of this RC model...
I just purchased the exact same RC tank, and it looks pretty good right out of the box. The engine, cannon, and machine gun sounds are awesome, and it is IR battle ready as well. I have a companion T-34 on order so my kid and I can duel it out for battlefield supremacy..LOL
