1/18 Normandy Farmhouse...??

Post by ostketten » Sun May 04, 2008 5:06 pm

Anybody know who makes this thing..?? It's definitely not a 21st product, and it doesn't really look like 1/18 scale either, and certainly not worth $80 plus, but with a little work it could make a decent XD "euro style cottage" maybe. Looks like some kind of a kids dollhouse of the type you might see at a TRU, never seen one there, but I wasn't really looking for it either.

Yes, that is a Playmobil building - my brother has one. It really is a nice piece and actually fits well enough with 1:18, but they still just don't look right. It something about the bright plastic. Certainly not a building one would see in Normandy :P

Hey here's another Playmobile piece that looks kinda interesting, with enough paint and weathering I think this could maybe be turned into a decent XD diorama accessory. Does TRU sell this brand..??

I have one of these. I have not had the room to put it together.
The large door would be big enough for a jeep to fit into.
It should fit into the XD world with some work.

With a little paint and some black wash you can make the Playmobil stuff a little less "Disneyland" like. Size works quite well.
This particular one is not completed. It still needs some Battle Damage!
