The tanks looks great, but only the one figure I guess. Just the one I though it would come with. The winter panther came with two figures for less, but this one has a much better paintscheme.

I see many of these ebay sellers of lately. You normally see this with Star Wars phototypes or the first of the line figures. I see many of the loose Star Wars figures from up coming multi-packs, that haven't even been stated for release. That makes me think these are workers or know workers in the factories. I think they get most of these for nothing, if they pay for them at all and then turn around and put them on ebay. Normally you see them for great prices, but the shipping is always high. If you think about it, it's a very good way to bring in funds to your country that would not normally come in. They are most likely making a killing and can live like kings in some ways from this type of thing.

Hope you can post some nice closeup pics too. When I get mine that I pre-ordered from BCA, I plan to custom paint and add a set of the side armor skirts one of our members was selling here awhile back.

If you cut the chin off I think that is would work in the time frame used for the skirts.

To be honest Pickel I would have to do some research on that question, but based on a quick scan of info and images on the net it appears the Ausf. G/171 did (at least in some cases) have the skirts, but whether it was standard issue or not I can't say.

Addendum: I just found this at wikipedia, dunno how accurate it is but I can confirm with my Jentz book when I get home tonite. A total of 2953 Ausf. G's were produced from Mar. 44' thru Apr. 45' and schurzen were deleted from new production Panthers beginning in Sept. 44' so at least the early G's would have/could have had Schurzen.

Well I guess I am right. The 21st Panther is a late war Panther. It has the chin deflector the high radiator cover (heater) and the muffler flash dampeners. I used to really be up on this kind of stuff. But old age does take its toll and I forget alot. But there is one thing that I will not forget and that is dinner time !!!

I don't know where they got that info, but there are plenty of pics of late Panthers with the side skirts on. And almost all pics of Panther Gs have the side skirts mounting brackets. So they must have been issued the shurzen, or else why attach the mounting brackets for them at all?

A few pics of late Panthers with the side skirts on. I decided not to post pics of Panthers with the mounting brackets only, because they're very common and could be easily found anywhere.
