Matorro 1:16 RC Kingtiger
For anyone who doesn't want to wait for 21C to release their 1:18th scale Kingtiger, this might be an alternative worth considering. These are going for about $150 (plus shipping) on ebay right now, and maybe even cheaper somewhere else if you have the time to search around...

I have one of these and I really love it. Other than the paint scheme, and a non-prototypical bulge in the front lower hull (for gearbox clearance), It is a nice model. The lower hull bulge is easily fixed with some modelling skills.
I paid $200 shipped from Mato Toys, with shipping, and I don't regret it one bit.
Hope this helps,
John

The camo scheme looks pretty good, and the only thing I noticed was the lack of a turret number. Still, these could just be pre-production or prototype pics, maybe that's why it has no turret number..?? I haven't really closely followed the thread(s) on the 21C KT, but from what I can remember it is not exactly the most accurate KT model to come off the assembly line either, I can't remember what the specific complaints about it's accuracy were at the moment, but there were a few. What is wrong with the paint scheme.

how big is this? Looking at my 1/35 Konig on my printer...considering something big to play with/chase the dog with.
I am almost ready to get a 1/6 Panzer and some of those nifty nazi dolls Dragon makes to play with..well a R/C panzer to atleast make a man-hobby claim. Plus I drive a german hatchback, but a german hatchback with a big arse panzer in the rear would be cooler.

It's not my monitor Ostketten- I have one sitting here right next to my computer desk!
Below are a few picks of a fellow RC Armor board members KT that really shows what the colors look like in-person.

Maybe someone mixed up their reference material. Once upon a time the germans did use purple (lilac or mauve actually) in camo schemes but that was on WWI aircraft like the Albatros D.III. I think they may have used it on the A7V too but I don't think I've ever heard of it being used on a WWII tank.
