http://www.electrifly.com/ductedfans/gpma1865.html this may be of interest. Purely fanciful but it's dimensions are 1/18-ish and it looks similar to several German Luft '46 type projects such as:

Yeah, I'm starting to get a little bored. I was just about to order the GWS A-10 from Tower Hobbies, but they are on backorder :cry: .

lots of A-10's on ebay.....look for a slope glider if possible. You should be able to find a cheap one.

look under 'arf' as well as 'gws'
i never met an airplane i didn't like...
