What's in the box?

Post by grunt1 » Thu Apr 03, 2008 4:23 am

It's clear that box size and shelf footprint are a pretty big deal to our favorite 1:18 manufacturers and the big box stores like Walmart, TRU and Target.

So out of curiousity, what do you think 21C could fit into the classic 1:32 armor box and price point if they did something in 1:18 and wanted to slip it in there.

Seems like a Nebelwerfer with a crouching crewmember would work..

What else?

I remember Tamiya sold a box with a US mortar, machine gun and bazooka teams (one of each) in 1:35 way back when. I haven't seen the 1:32 boxes, so I'm not sure if this is feasible, but maybe a machine gun and bazooka team could fit in there with some sandbags/bricks/debris.

Also a German sentinel with a sentry box and barrier would be cool: http://www.cyber-hobby.com/shop/index.p ... cts_id=545

A stretcher party with wounded soldier (or a medic with some first-aid station accessories), or a couple of feldgendarmes with a dog could do the trick as well.
