1/18 King Tigers at TRU in Canada!!

Post by aferguson » Tue Apr 01, 2008 9:43 am

I'm still gasping......i went to my local TRU for my regular bi-monthly toy run, expecting nothng and whammo.....saw four 21st Century KT's sitting on the shelf. Not since the corsair/lightning/tiger tanks came out 6 years ago has there been any XD at all in Canada.........wahooooooooooo.

The bad news is they were expensive. $79.99 but they're out and they're gorgeous. The paint job looks great with the soft edged mottling we've been seeing on the 32x german stuff. No figure. All plastic...no diecast. Quality on mine looks pretty good with only trivial flaws spotted. I asked the manager about the 88 coming and he looked at me with a blank stare....so we'll have to wait and see but it is shown on the back of the KT"s box.

I only picked up one. Sorry, no pics......still no camera. This has got to mean it will show at TRU in the States i would assume.
i never met an airplane i didn't like...

sorry all.....April Fools.

Had this planned for a few days but TTT had scooped me on the idea so i was debating whether to do it or not...decided to go ahead. Figured i'd see if i could catch anybody twice.

You know the old saying 'fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me...'

Aferg: You should have subbed in something else possible... Bush Avenger, 1:18 P-51B, etc. You could have made something of this. But your biggest crime is debunking it two minutes later! :P
