Small Scale Military Headquarters

Ran across this interesting little item today. For $9.99 it comes with a ton of stuff..

- 4 Figures with unique head sculpts, excellent articulation, very similar to the PTE guys with much better head sculpts
- 2 Vehicles (way undersized)
- Gob of accessories (mortar, bazookas, 2 sandbags sets, 3 piece wall set, etc..)
- 2 GIANT sandbags
- Sand tools for digging and making roads

One of the bazookas is a decent German Ofenrohr knockoff. The mortar is unknown, but it's fantastic and fully adjustable arms and baseplate. I'm guessing its a knockoff of a real weapon too so maybe someone can ID it. Looks a lot like the U.S. M244 with the handle, not sure those come with a square base since the only photos I've seen show it as round.

Going to keep the accessories and hand off the vehicles and tools off to a needy young sandbox dweller.

TKO, we REALLY need the KT and 88! The M-1 could be spruced up with some accessories and weathering...

In all seriousness grunt, the mortar looks great and the heads are much better than PTE.

I wanted this set when I was a kid!

I think the figures look very similar to PTE guys that came in a set that Sears sold with all kinds of modern goodies.

It was at TRU over in the summer and sand toys section with the squirt guns, etc..

And yes, this would have been fantastic as a kid. Those road forms are awesome.

Thats really a pretty cool set. It is a good item to start off the little ones with to fuel their fascination for military history and military collectibles. I know my 6 year old would love to have one on our beach excursions.

those look like Lanard Corps! accessories. I recognize the wall and sand bags.

Yeah, the figure's and accessories are definitely from the "Eversparkle playset". An infamously cool little set that, if I were able to find more, I'd gladly buy them. it was way cooler than that set too as almost everything with it was useable to an extent.

Anyway, the figures are definitely those. I may have to check this out at TRU just to see if I can find it as I use the figures from that ES playset if I can find a couple. It's a couple simple bodies with simple construction, good articulation. No screws and things like PTE have, so they're not quite as sturdy, but the heads are cool and they're good enough for generic background customs for other hobbies.

The weapons are pretty nifty indeed... The Eversparkle had a modular playset/building though.

If anyone out there has the Eversparkle building parts, I'd love to have more... Wish I could find a pile of those some day.
