New here.
Just wanted to say hello.
I got into collecting 21st Century XD planes just after Christmas when I was given a gift card from Wal Mart. Used it for a Kepford Corsair and a Galland 109, with the reasoning, "I wish they had these when I was a kid."
Since then, I've gotten 12 more planes. Very addictive. So much so that my house is beginning to look like an airfield.
It was nice to find this board though. Specifically, finding out that I wasn't the only one whose planes have "quality" issues (I mean, really, who would've thought to look for the antenna for the Red 3 190 on the stick?).

Hey bhallg2k!
Welcome to the board. We're looking forward to your input!
You joined the right bunch of XD addicts here, that's for sure. I hope you enjoy the board. FYI, I have a profile album I keep up to date that shows information on each paint scheme on who flew it, unit, etc. Many board members find photos and profiles to add to it. Just click the website button and you are there!
Again, welcome to the fun. You joined at the right time.......

Welcome to the board. Glad you also find the XD hobby addicting, as so do I and just about everyone else here. IMHO, there are many worse things we could be blowing our money on!
...and Tankduel, I don't think you would truly want a Wal Mart in Auckland - it would run every other little shop out of business, replacing them with an inferior and disorganized business. Besides should the store even stock XD, the store with all the good stuff would be on the other island!
