OK, so I was fiddling with my D-Day figures here, trying to get them all situated as I want them for display on a shelf here, and I'm about as annoyed as anyone else is with the one headsculpt as you can't fit a helmet on it...

We all know the guy I'm talking about.

Anyway, I found you can fit the Forces of Valor helmets on him pretty good actually. It's a nice swap really, to get him in a decent helmet. Dragon helmets also work well too if you've got them, but it's more likely you've got a FOV helmet handy. Very nice. :)

That's the guy! The head was initially used on the German officer, and then got put on the US figures. I can't stand the hair thing either. On one figure with that headsculpt, I trimmed the hair down a bit and repainted, with the others, I found that the old hot water trick on the helmet did wonders

Yup, that's him. My officer fit his hat just fine with some work, but really that worked out... The US guy though, not so much, so I've gone the alternate route of a larger brain bucket, and it works fantastic. The FOV helmets must have a bit more size to them inside to fit that guy's boofant.

I too have used this same head on other 21st C guys and some BBI figures also. The need to trim the front of the hair is a MUST. Otherwise, helmets won't fit. I've not tried him with FOV figures, yet. But I've done other 21st heads on the FOV bodies. I did note that the FOV helmet is smaller than the 21st helmet, but I now have loads of custom figures to add to my Armies :P Da General
