Their bigger 6" figs have removable weapons. I would say these smaller versions would too.

Did you see anymore news of when these will be available?

It would be cool if they where 1/18 but as we all know Maclaren
will not do that scale.

Question is this just a rumor or has he said that he will not do 1:18 is there a online reference to his dislike of 1:18th ?

Or maybe his father used to beat him with a Habro Gi Joe when he was a kid.

he has been asked about doing figures in the scale and said it was something McF toys will not pursue. Reasons unknown....but he's a bit of an oddball, so i suspect it does have something to do with when he was a child...

yeah I would like to get a closer look at them, the figures won't have much movement but if the weapons came free and looked ok with 1/18 I might grab a couple if they aren't too expensive.

Saw them yesterday - very small (3 inches may be a stretch) and it did not appear the weapons came free. May be wrong on that last point.

I'm not sure if its a benefit if the weapons are removable. I use several of the McFarlane 6"-scale weapon packs to provide more realistic guns for my 8"-scale GI Joes. They don't look too bad, and they work since decent weapons aren't too easy to find in that size. But, in 1/18 land, where you have a better selection of weapons, I'm betting the small stuff would look more out of place.
