WOW. I'm no german expert, but everything looks exceptional to me. I saw a photo of the single-carded German, and it was in DAK uniform so now there are at least two different..... :)

Yeah, a bit clunky. But maybe some potential for customizing into something more realistic. Maybe.

I think its cool though. Sure I'll pick up a few, along with the horse set.

EDIT: Looking at the motorcycle, it may just be the hole for the screw to bolt the halves together. But, it does remind me of the way the gun sidecar mounted on the old GI Joe RAM. Maybe an accomodation for a future release (w/ sidecar).

Yeah, much too big and clunky. All the other period motorcycles we have to choose from, easily available and affordable, are much better. :=

I don't mind no sidecar - they weren't on every one. And the figure looks awesome.

It is a bit toylike (see tire) but for the price will be the best available. If there is another cycle out I should be aware of please let me know!

Indy looks terrible frankly...little head and all..

I'd suggest that a side-car version will also appear using this non-side-car version as the bike half, note the large hole in the rear axle hub and the obvious cap in the exhaust barrel behind the front wheel. These will probably extend for the side-car version of the bike.

Clunky? anyhow at least it looks a little more Germanic than the thinly disguised trail bikes used in TLC.

I say bring them on, as they appear to have ideal custom fodder potential for sure, and seeing how the new Indy movie is to be another big block-bluster with all the associated merchandise, well just maybe we will even get the figure line down here (at a reasonable $$$), so I'll be getting a couple if we do.

That bike looks awesome, and I like the figure too! Chunky or not, the bike is probably the best German motorcycle on the market at the moment, unless 21c makes one. The figure looks more realistic in many ways than do the 21c figures as well. I'll certainly be down for this when it shows up :D

Still thinking on the clunky business, I have seen the Big BMWs and Zundapps in real life and they are pretty big beasts, somewhere here I have some 50 plus photos (pre my digital days or this would have numbers in the 100s) of a detailed walk-around shoot that I took of a BMW side-car in the Deutsches Museum (I may have even scanned then to a disk also), hope I can dig them up as they should come in handy if and when these get here!

You see how desperate us true southerners are for XD, we’ll take anything that looks remotely like the real deal.

I also have a 1/6th scale bike decal set that I can scale down for my cutomising needs.

I thought this looks pretty darn good. Figure and bike.

I have only been collecting 1/18 for a while but already I am almost out of releases to purchase. Can we afford to be choosy in this scale?

I like it, and, hey... It'll be $10 for what appears to be a VERY well articulated long-coat German, who is looking like a neat figure with a working holster and an MP40, likely a removable helmet as well...

That's all great stuff in and of itself, but you also get a bike... Would 21st be so kind for $10? I don't know really, but the PAK-40 sure as hell wasn't that cheap, and it's not exactly a space-taker. ;)

This is kind of like the FOV Tiger, to me, in that it's not 21st standards in terms of quality overall, but for the price it's well worth it IMO.

Give me a handful... I'd completely expect to see this released with a sidecar and Indy/Henry Jones figures, and possibly even a desert tan w/sidecar as well...

Cool pictures, thanks for the posting of them for sure. Indy w/horse looks good to me... I think the basic figure will be the best, and these deluxe pack-in figures may suffer here and there. Deluxe never really was a line that delivered consistantly, so maybe that's going to carry over. The horse is outstanding though, and the other set is neat for a display piece... Interesting route they're taking with almost mini-playset like items.

By the way guys...

If you want to actually dl the photos to enlarge and inspect for yourself, check out the link here:
http://www.hasbro.com/indianajones/

For whatever reason, a-f.com took the photos and put them on their site with all those stupid watermarks and stuff, and won't allow you to take them for yourself... Makes sense of course when the photos are exclusives, but their story's hardly exclusive considering every other site found the Hasbro Indiana Jones site today. ;)

I didn't notice the price estimate for each item until now. WOW! $10 bucks for the cycle w German Soldier? COOL! I am sure that the hole at the back tire will connect to a sidecar.(sold separatly for 19.99) The German Soldier has what appears as a cloth coat/uniform on. (In your face Steelbonnet! )
Like Jesse James was saying - give up a little detail for the price mark and it's a GREAT DEAL!

The individual figures look good too for 6.99 each. These new figs should be 1/18 scale or close to, correct?

Scale could vary... They'll be the same size-ish as Star Wars figures though, if you need to compare it to something, so they should fit in well enough...

More Indy news... Lots of figures from the new movie pictured including a Russian Officer and Russian Trooper... W eapons appear to be AK's by the way.

Stuff's gonna be coming out so just keep your eyes peeled... We have a story up now if you want to check out the Indy figures though, just head over to my site before the story gets bumped down. Some spoilers may apply though, so if you don't want to be spoiled, don't look at the Indy figures from the new movie. ;)

The Russian chick's hair looks like a hair helmet too.
