E-100 Jagdpanzer

Post by pickelhaube » Fri Feb 08, 2008 9:05 am

Anybody know anything about this little tank destroyer? There is one on e-bay under the built 1/35 cat. It looks like a simplified Hetzer with Tiger steel wheels and a bigger gun. Was this experamental or did it actualy see service?
I know there was another E-100 Jagdpanzer Crocodile but this one was super heavy.

I believe it is an E 10, not 100 and was a proposed replacement for the Hetzer.

It sure is a cool little tank destroyer. Was it ever built or just a paper AFV like the anti-aircraft Panthers?

Your right it should have been E-10. The guy had it as a E-100. There are other E-100s. Like the Mause and the Croc. I know they made 2 Mauses (Mices :D ) But I think that the Croc was an X-tank as well. Off or on the drawing board I do not know. :? I know they also made another E-100 it was a large tank as well. The Brits found alot of the boddies and turrets after the war. I guess all of the big tanks were labeled E-100.
