* 21st.C "Old Crow" decal ( ? )

Post by MG-42 » Sat Feb 02, 2008 4:48 pm

* Did anybody receive the correct decal for 21st.'s "Old Crow" version , or did anybody even care to enquire about it being sent to anybody that purchased the aircraft , in the first place , especially since after Roy Sutherland , said they would ?

* If I don't get any responses here , I'll just presume 21st.C did'nt supply one afterall , then.

* Just curious , Thanks ! ..................

BatCat offers it at very reasonable cost. Given the results of the plugs for the Atlantic Avenger I think that cost to be very good vs sweating 21c to supply theirs.

I purchased a decal from Badcat for my BBI Old Crow.
If you trim it as close as possible with an X-Acto Blade, you'll barely notice there's a decal on the plane.

It looks great, but be careful not to handle the plane by the "nose" until the decal is completely dry.

These will be issued by 21st right after they address the quality control issues that "grace" their BBD. :roll:

What really strikes me as odd in all this is the fact that both manufacturers completely forgot to include this lil’ detail that spans oh, something like the whole forward fuselage of the ‘Old Crow’ (that’s a couple of meters long in the 1:1 version, IIRC)… yet they still seem to think they’re entitled to some credibility when they claim to produce models with “maximum realism” and “Xtreme Detail”. That’s like making a 1:18 Greyhound replica and stenciling only one side of the bus with the company logo. :?
