I have a chance to pickup a 21st century 1/18 Ridge Runner or Flying Under taker. Any opinions on which is more desirable from a historic, paint scheme, or whatever you might base your opinion on
Thanks

These are both nice looking Mustangs, but they both have the bent back prop blades. These blades really take away from the look of the plane. 21st Century fixed the prop blades on later releases of the P-51D, but those two models have the bent blades.

Ridge Runner for sure. It's Pierce McKinnon's mount. He was quite the individual.

I always liked "The Flying Undertaker." Its paintscheme is flashy with the black and yellow stripes, but not too overbearing. Its also a P-51 from the Pacific theater, and we really don't have too many of those in 1:18

JLSPEC:
I'd rather buy the BBI Donald Duck P-51 on sale at Target.com. I've got one already and it's much better than my 21st Century Big Beautiful Doll P-51.
