Hello!
Here are some news from the Toy Fair here in Germany:
21st CT:
German Kübelwagen Scale 1:6
Radio controlled Humvee (Desert storm) Scale 1:6
and the surprise:
Radio controlled M1A1 Abrams Scale 1:6 (not seen, but they have it in their new broschure)
also in the broschure: F-104, F-86 Sabre and the Avenger!!! in a nice painting.
I will scanning the brochure and sent it the Teamski in a few hours.
BBI wasn´t here, sorry.
Have fun
Dirk

Awesome news about the F-86 and Avenger! Given the neat features seen on the 1:6 RC Stuart tank, 21c should make a very cool RC Abrams. But why 1:9 scale? I know 1:6 would be way to large, but a 1:6 Abrams would be so cool!

Pictures of the handout have been posted into the 2004-2005 21st Catalog album. The picture of the F-86 has me kinda tingly inside! Nice crate!!! Thanks Dirk for the intel. I don't care what anybody thinks about it, but I love the Avenger paint scheme. It is going to be drop-dead gorgious!

This is good news. There is the Avenger, the F-86, and the F-104. I am certainly down for the F-86 and Avenger (which by the way looks to be a production model??) Now for official word on the ME-262 and MIG-15 and I'll be dancing with anticipation for the spring and summer months!

Sharp looking catalogue....21c is really starting to get it together. Great to see. I'm happy for them, i know they've all worked really hard.
Interesting to see the xd vietnam ad. I wonder if we can be looking forward to some reissues and a new issue of the hut, or if it's just padding for the catalogue.
I like the saber's scheme....same one that Matchbox did on their 1/72 diecsast.
The Avenger's atlantic scheme is very attractive and will be a nice compliment to the eventual Pacific scheme(s) that come out....i'll need to scratch up some 1/18 depth charges and rockets for it and so i can go Uboat hunting...

Thanks Dirk for the intel, and Teamski for posting the photos! The F-86 has long been one of my favorite A/C, but it looks like I'll have to decide between it, and the 104....both look excellent

I noticed they're showing the Scorpion and Desert sceme Stukas, the grey Marine Corsair, the black P-38, the Govt. Building, the stone walls, and the VN hut playset, that we've seen before at some of the older toy fair displays. Also nice to see the modern basic US Infantry figure.
Please remember that all of the photos are from the 2004 catalog except the first 4!!

Hmm...did anyone else notice that the Eastern Warriors have morphed into bad guys(see 21stcat1 on page 2)...what happened to "I Love the United States" spelled backwards? I always thought that was 21CT humor at its best...

Remember that they are at a European toy show, not NYC. "I Love the USA" isn't going to go over very well, and bad press over there could easily scare a retailer off. The public has a MUCH longer memory there, both for good and for ill. "Ich bin ein Berliner" is still remembered, as is "Mr. Gorbechov - Tear down this wall!!".

Hey Dirk: We really appreciate the info on the 21st Century new products. We loyal fans here in the U.S.A. are usually the last to know anything-but, hey, we only buy the vast majority of their output, so why should they clue us in ?
Anyway, Danke Schoen!

Armour just released their New B-17G "General Ike" of the 91st Bomb Group and trust me the thing is awsome, heavy and BIG! Its the same scale as the Revell/Monogram 1/48th B-17G Model but made of heavy metal. I replaces the props on it because they looked wrong but other then that if you want a B-17 then the new Armour/Franklin Mint release is the one to get.

How about the modern US infantryman shown with the modern forces. Did he ever come out?
Man, I wish the Vietnam village would miraculously show up.

The XD Modern soldier has not yet come out.
Lets also remember that only the first four of Teamski's catalogue images are new - the ones with the Jets, the Kubelwagon, Hummer, and Abrams tank. The rest were part of the catalogue released earlier in 2004 and have been posted on his website for quite some time.

wow! a Sabre...now we'll need some Mig-15's for that Mig Alley diorama I have planned..lol
Huff would be a nice scheme, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed for my alltime favorite of the Century Fighter schemes "Mig Mad Marine" John Glens bird.
