Hey - I like this new paint job and COOL - panther released again!!!!
How long has it been since a NEW 1/18 armor piece has been released?
Three Questions:
1-When and were was this paint scheme used in WWII?
2-What vendors will be carrying this? TRU, WM, Online only???
3-Do you know if this will ship with a NEW articulated/multi-legged Tank Commander?
Feed us the info, TKO....

This is the return of the old friend that I had hinted at a couple weeks ago. In fact I think a few guys had guessed that the Panther would release again...
I thought I had info on where this scheme was fought but I either misplaced it or I am not thinking clearly since my vacation! LOL
I will try to get that info out of Roy as he know more about the camo than I.

an unremarkable scheme but great to see this baby released again. I suspect it's a Normandy scheme.....seems to the one of the two main themes with 21c armour these days (bulge is the other).
Let's hope this portends the release of a jagdpanther!...my trick knee is tingling...

Zach,
Haven't you figured it out that we have a spy cam embedded in your office and that every bit of movement on Area 21 is watched by dozens of our people, using some of the most advanced monitoring software the CIA has to offer?

Don't have a panther yet so I will definately be getting one of these.
I like this scheme better than than the older releases.
I don't care how much space they take up, I love 1:18 scale.

As long as you can get them before General blaster buys them all up….

The one thing I love about the panther is how easily the wheels turn and the track doesn't come off. The tiger is a lil tighter when rolling it along. The other cool thing about my tanks are that when rolling it along the ground they make a sweeky sound like real tanks do. pretty realistic if you ask me.

Wonderful

The scheme looks more to be an Eastern Front scheme, but then what do I know? Either way it looks great and I'll certainly get one, even though I already have the S1 version and the winter version. I'm very glad to see 21c re-release the Panther in a basic cammo scheme as it will certainly make alot of collectors very happy!

Who is General Blaster?
Does he seriously buy a bunch up and then sell them later for higher $$?

Yes!! I love that effect as well on my 21C diecast Sherman (I think my diecast Tiger does the same). Not sure if it was intentional, but I very much appreciate it!

This is great news...it's about time that we see a new 1/18 tank even though it's a repaint. Other than the half tracks there hasn't been anything released since the panzers

Not a bad scheme whatsoever. However, I think the Ambush scheme cannot be topped IMHO..... Its great to know that newer collectors will once again be able to get what I consider the best XD tank subject made....
