since we've been told that of the f4, mig 21 and b25, only the F-4 is to be released this year (and i'll believe it when we see it) what, if any, other planes do you think we just might see?

No Dauntless on the poll?? That is some real skepticism...

I voted for the Wildcat because I would love to see one. I hope the Dauntless and Skyraider projects are going well. I will have both of those babes for sure. Looks like wishful thinking on the B-25. :(

I think he is considering new announcements, not planes that are definitely in process. Then again, maybe a 21st Century Dauntless or Skyraider becomes a possibility.

Then none, but I've been very happily proved wrong before, just look at Pegasus.

By that I only mean that I don't consider announced to be the same as see. Given the amount of time it takes to produce a new model, I was answering according to what I think will be available to buy this year.

OK..when you mentioned the F4 and the MiG I thought you were including announced planes..
In that case, none. Plenty of repaints though.

I voted before I read all the thread Aferg. I think we will see the announced F-4, Dauntless, Skyraider and X-1. Those have already been announced.

Outside of those, I don't think we will see anything unless we get some repaints. I am holding out for a new Spitfire release.

An FW-190A seems most likely to me. Its not so big that development would be hindered, there's a ton of paintschemes to pick from, different variants (A model fighter/F model bomber) can be made from the same mould, it has recognizability among collectors and aviation buffs, and it already exists in both 1:32 and 1:144 scales 8)

An FW-190A

Depending on how the 1/32 scale sells maybe it's feasible for a FW190A. IMO it was the "original" butcher bird. I tried to figure out a way to make the D look like an A as There is no possible way to change a D to and A (The Focke-Wulf of course) but I swear I heard that said to me 20 odd years ago by some teachers

There was a wonderful custom done converting a D to an A model that was sold through e-bay. I believe one of our forum members purchased it. It was pretty darn slick if I remember correctly.

I am not feeling all that optomistic either. Though, w/ Pegasus in the small craft market, I think we could see a Cub or a Komet from them announced, maybe.

I think an 190A is a good bet down the line. I think without Big Box power we have to accept a return to smaller models. We should stop thinking about the Mosquito or 110 at this point. The Anton makes sense but I still think it would take more than a year to tool up and bang out - putting us in 09. :?

A P-51 B/C is a possibility form two companies, and has many repaints too.

WOuld love to see the FW 190A (so many paint possibilities :D ), but doubt we'll see anything new this year except maybe the Dauntless from Admiral.
