I was just looking at Area 21 and they show a new scheme on the Hano.

Nice, and glad its from the Normandy campaign. That will go well with all the D-Day series troops. Still, I like the S1 paintscheme the best, and wish my local TRUs would simply clear out of them :wink:

hmm.....i don't like to dispute Roy but the sdkfz 251/22 didn't come out until late '44, well after Normandy
i never met an airplane i didn't like...

correct, Late '44 or December 1944 onwards

IF 116.pz did get some, I don't know for sure...they could be used for Wacht am Rhine..since white-washed AFVs were haberdashed with camo vehicles.

i've actually never seen a picture of a /22 in winter whitewash, which is sort of odd since it came out in the winter of '44. There wasn't a lot of snow around before the Bulge and after that snowfall was sparse but still i've seen a fair number of other german vehicles from around that time in whitewash but never a /22.
i never met an airplane i didn't like...
