Storage question on unwanted modern/extra figures/vehicles

I just have a question.
Perhaps some folks have had this same thing happen and I need advice.
I have 3 paper cases full of modern figures I need to get rid of for sale and trade. Also have a couple Hummers that I got just for the head of the figure that came with them, plus I have some duplicate planes I bought when I went wild on Evil bay 6 monthes ago. Now the question, WHere do I store them until my 6 month period for selling comes due. I will put these up on the B/T/S forum at that time, but they take up a TON of storage space. What have other folks done ??? Thanks, Da General

Got a basement? :)

All my MOC/MIB and "opened, used, and resealed" stuff is stored in plastic storage totes bought from Target. Packed and stacked in basement corners, they are at least relatively safe from any normal environmental damage, etc.

There's no easy solution, in my opinion. If we didn't have a basement, a lot of this stuff would probably end up thrown away (not by me!) or sold/given to friends.

GB,

I built a huge storage shed in the back yard and I am building a shop as we speak. If you have the room, it's a great place to hide you goodies.

You won't have to store it now since now you have advertised what you have to sell trade, no doubt the PM's will be coming in already; nicely done :)

If you only have a couple months, what's a few boxes? Three is nothing, especially if you have to store stuff for your G-scale railroad  . Garages, top shelves of closets....just put them aside.

If space is such a major issue, there is EvilBay.

You'll have to sell them unfortunately. Give me a list of the duplicate planes.

If it's not possible to cramp whatever you have through your house, renting a storage facility isn't a bad idea.

At least waiting 6 months to buy anything doesn't take up space. Just a lot of patience.
