Greetings
After years of saying I wouldn't buy a 1/18 aircraft....I caved:)
A Walmart near me has had three Tiger Meet Canadian Starfighters on sale for $25 for the past few weeks. It just looked so darn good I couldn't resist, so today I picked one up and it was actually reduced down to $15. I brought it home and put it together and I love it.
This has to be one of the better fitting and nicer models, very sturdy and it fit together well. The paint is also great on my example. Very cool looking aircraft and something different for my collection.
I am back to 1/18, in a very limited capacity.

Corey, you made a great choice with the Tiger meet CF-104 Starfighter. Doesn't the pilot's helmet look cool also.

The Tiger Meet 104 is one of the coolest looking in the series. The fact that it isn't a fantasy scheme makes it all the better.....

Greetings:
I have had this plane out for a couple of days and I must say it still looks awesome. Our school mascot where I teach is a tiger so I brought this airplane to school with me today and showed it to my students and they loved it.
I unfortunately do not have room for 1/18 airplanes but bought this one just because it's such a different scheme and aircraft. It looks really good. Interestingly enough, the box was smashed but fortunately the aircraft was okay. I am actually thinking of going back and getting a red tailed USAF version as well as that looks really nice too. For the price you can't go wrong. I always looked the flashy look of the Starfighter as well, in many respects, its look was ahead of its time.
I like the fit of the model and my paint is really crisp and clean. Landing gear is well designed and works well (took some figuring out). I like the pilot as Sabrefan pointed out. My only complaint is the missile rail looks goofy (I left it off) and the pilot is hard to get into the aircraft. I ended up taking his boots off to get him in the cockpit. Otherwise it's a great model.
Sorry to report on an old model, I just love this aircraft and am very happy I picked it up.

Welcome back.
Glad you like the 104 - always say it is the best model between fit & finish and a lot of people can't get over it's history or peculiar look. But once you have one you will see that you feel like you have a genuine supersonic model on your hands. A 1/18 AC collection without a 104 is at a loss!

While I don't have the Tigermeet F-104, I will say that this 21c plane in general is one of their better offerings. No matter the paintscheme, it always looks great
