Out of all of our 1/18th scale armor that's out, which ones other than the Tiger tank ( and my custom Sherman tank) have a detailed interior? This is the only one I know of. The new BBI tank does not , nor does the Panzer IV. Just curious, I heard that the M113 does?

The M41 has a detailed interior? Does anyone have any shots of what this looks like? I will have to shoot some pics of my 21st Sherman interior I scratch built....some of you may have seen it as I won a GP contest a couple years ago with it.

Don't have any pictures readily avaliable - that tank is at home and I'm away at school. I'll do my best to describe it!

There is the gun breach with recoil guard, the turret floor has a box to catch spent shells, the mounts for other shells and another sort of raised portion that the gunner sits on. The commander and loader's seats are mounted on the bars that connect the turret base to the upper portion. The commander's hatch and the loader's hatch open, as well as a storage compartment on the rear of the turret. A swiveling seat has also been included for the driver. It swivels back to allow him to sit down with the hatch closed and moves forward to allow him to sit polking out of the hatch. The interior is nice, but not as well done as on the Tiger.
The engine compartment also opens via three panels on the deck of the tank. The engine is incredibly well detailed and is much bettern than the Tiger's engine. There are four opening storage compartments on the upper sides of the tank.

The M113's interior is simple. There is the space for the driver with some instruments and the seat. A seat is mounted to the commander's cuppola and rotates with that piece. The rear compartment has the benches that the soldiers sit on as well as the storage area. There is a fire extinguisher and other machinery in this part. The engine opens via three panels, but does not include the radiators that would be mounted on the roof panel of this section of the vehicle.

The M2 Bradley AFV also has an interior. The rear troop compartment opens and includes three seats, a rack of spare TOW missles, a piece molded to look like the turret back and ammunition boxes. The driver's compartment also opens and includes some controls, the driver's seat, and behind that, some more ammo boxes. The turret, for what ever reason, does not have an interior, however, due to its desing, one could be easily crafted.

As you have noted, no other tanks have an interior.

Wow, you rock! Thanks for all the great info...would love to see pics. I can't find an M113 anywhere...and people say on here they have gotten them for 10 bucks! The bulldogs are long gone, and I guess I missed out on those. Would still love to get one, but when they came out I had no dough.... I had no idea some of these tanks came with interiors. The M2 I did know about, as I own one and have added to the interior on that kit. I have scratch built a detailed interior on that puppy, which is about 90 percent done at this point. I had lots of photo scrap in which to reference for accurately constructing the interior, not to mention, some was already done! Thanks!
