Ok guys, since about 4 threads have this banter, it seems we need to flush out what piece of WWII US Armor we want to see. The decision has probably been made for us (hopefully

) by one of the companies, but everybody likes a poll!
Doh!

Sorry....forgot the M24 Chaffee - another good choice. Knew that would happen....oh well. Anyway, I can't make up my mind

M10 was cool but M18 was purpose-designed as a TD rather than based on the M4 which we're all getting sick of

And the M18 was faster & had a better gun, and we were outgunned as it was so I went with M18. Lord knows I'd buy either
I am thinking I should have offered a later version of the Priest....

I went with the M-18. It would be a feasable design for 21c, since they have the 1:32 version with the lovely turret detail to refer to for a 1:18 one.
Based on that reasoning, an M-5 Stuart and M-24 Chaffee would also be very logical steps for 1:18 US WWII Armor for 21c.
I wouldn't mind an M-26, as though a later vehicle, would be better matched against the German tanks.

Thought I have been all about a Preist, because of playing Battlefield 1942. I voted for an M-16. We need some anti-aircraft out there. I mean we have 7 Emil variants out there. Our few Spits and jugs can't possibly do it all. And, now that we have trucks for convoys they need some kind of protection from strafing.

I voted for the Pershing, but I would also like to have an M-18.

At this point in time I'll appreciate any new US armor that will help out the Shermans against those Tigers and Panthers.

The M18's 76mm gun was basically the same as the 76mm Sherman. Our best TD was the M36 with a 90mm gun. I voted for the M26 but would really like to see al the listed armour made. and the unlisted M10 and M36.

M-10,M-18,or M-36.These were pretty common in the latter stages of the war.
I like the Pershing, but it was a very rare tank in 1945.
