Walmart UPC for P-47 Bubbletop - Anyone?

Post by compfire » Wed Feb 09, 2005 5:44 pm

Does anyone have the Walmart UPC for P-47 Bubbletop?

Also - Would it worth while to keep a running post of all the UPCs together (21C & BBI). Members could help to keep it upto date.

The UPC code is the same for all XD planes..
They show up at Walmart as an "assortment"... :?

The description may be the same, but they do have different bar codes. The FW-190's and the Me-109's have different bar codes on the boxes.

FW-190 - 638748-100005
Me-109 - 638748-101750

The bar codes are different for each plane, but having the specific bc for a given plane will do you no good if you are trying to locate a bubbletop by telephone.
Their computer system sees any XD plane as "assortment". If you give the customer service person the bubbletop bar code, the qty they indicate on hand will be made up of a combined total of all the other xd planes on hand, with a very real possibility that no bubbletops are on hand at that store as the sku gets dumped into the stores computer by a centralized system.

Now you know what Pecard and Lt. Commander Data felt like the first time they entered the Borg ship
